Gum Disease Treatment
Gum disease is incurable and can lead to tooth and jawbone loss. We provide effective periodontal treatment with our Waterlase® system, which instantly eradicates signs of infection on your gums and inside the pockets that can form between your gums and teeth. Your gums are a protective barrier for your teeth. We’ll protect them with the most advanced treatment available today.
Your frenula are the slender pieces of soft tissue that anchor your upper lip to your upper gums and your tongue to the floor of your mouth. When these tissues are unusually small, they can restrict your ability to enjoy normal meals and conversations. We can give your lips and tongue full, natural movement by eliminating these tissues using our laser.
When parts of your gum tissue are infected the bacteria can spread to and compromise healthy sections of your gums. Our laser allows us to simply remove the specific portions of untreatable gum tissue. Highly skilled in cosmetic procedures, we can also remove excess portions of your gums to eliminate a “gummy smile,” leaving a beautifully balanced one in its place.
Dislike having a dental drill in your mouth? The vibration and noise they cause make many patients uncomfortable. We can remove your cavities and fill them without using a drill—and with little to no anesthesia. Our laser painlessly destroys all traces of bacteria and infection from your teeth.
We perform root canals when decay extends to the pulp chamber of your tooth, where the blood vessels and nerves are located. In these cases, a standard filling isn’t adequate. The laser allows us to eradicate the infected pulp and disinfect the canals before reinforcing the inside of affected teeth with a special type of dental filling material.
