What to expect

At Advanced Dentistry we do things differently

What to expect at your Consultation
with Advanced Dentistry

At Advanced Dentistry we do things differently. Each patient is unique and we want to achieve the best results for everyone. Most cosmetic dentists will take x-rays and the doctor will tell you what you need. There are limited choices if any at all.

We often receive phone calls requesting a quote and price over the phone, but we simply do not have a one size fits all plan. We begin by understanding your goals. Every patient’s needs are unique, and it’s not just your budget, but also your desired timeline, aesthetic preferences, and your health goals. We understand your desire for saving time, staying safe during COVID, and ensuring your finding an office that you can afford services from. Your health and happiness are our top concerns so when we meet in person, we can ensure we’re a perfect match for the outcome you deserve!

Every consultation goes through a customized process. We schedule an appointment with you to sit down and talk about what you hope to accomplish with your smile. Next, we’ll take photos and walk through what we see together.

We’ll ask you lots of questions.

  • How much do you value your smile?
  • What do you like or dislike about your smile?
  • Does your mouth feel healthy?
  • Is health or aesthetics your goal? Maybe it’s both!
  • What is your vision of your dream smile?

Planning is the key to a great smile.

We’ll tell you what we can achieve with full transparency and outlined expectations – both short-term and long-term. Once you have a clear understanding of what you want, we’ll discuss the pros and cons of the options. Your time frame, budget, overall health, and desired aesthetics are all factors that come into play. With your goals in mind, we customize a smile treatment plan.

It’s important to us to maximize a patient’s time. We create a comprehensive plan, not a band-aid fix. Ultimately there’s less anxiety, more comfort, and oftentimes, it’s less expensive. We spend a lot of time planning your treatment so you don’t have to spend time getting the treatment and repeat adjustments and time in the office.

TMJ issues, or disorders of the temporomandibular joint, are common among dental patients, and we’ve focused on alleviating them for years. While many practices use a mouthguard exclusively, we use a combination of treatments—including many cutting-edge therapies—for TMJ disorders. This includes advanced diagnostic and therapeutic technologies. We look at the root cause of any issue and treat them rather than simply addressing the TMJ symptoms, enabling you to live a more comfortable life. But that’s not just about feeling good. It’s about being happy with how you look. If you don’t love your smile, our cosmetic dentists have the advanced training to change that. We’ll enhance your smile esthetics with everything from teeth whitening to a full smile makeover.
